Jalal Leach – Baseball Professional
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area with a deep passion for baseball, I have dedicated over 30 years to the game as a player, coach, and scout. A former Major League player with the San Francisco Giants in 2001, My career includes being drafted by the New York Yankees, where he began his journey in professional baseball. I was coached and played along greats like Dusty Baker, Bobby Bonds Sr., Barry Bonds, Derek Jeter and Vladimir Guerrero Sr. to name a few.
As a coach, I have helped develop 14 players who went on to play in the Major Leagues (IE, Rhys Hoskins, Charlie Culberson, Eric Thames, Chris Flexen, Ryan Kriedler, David Freitas, Darren Baker, Justin Haley, Spenser Watkins, O’Koyea Dickson and 2024 1st round pick by the Texas Ranger Malcolm Moore to name some and have mentored countless others who excelled at the collegiate level at both softball and baseball.
My experience extends to scouting, where I honed an eye for talent and contributed to building winning organizations, working for the New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants and Miami Marlins.
Jalal runs Leachy Elite Training, a program designed to mentor and train youth baseball and softball players of all ages and skill levels, combining his deep knowledge of the game with the latest advancements in player development. With his storied history and unwavering commitment to the sport, Jalal continues to impact the baseball community worldwide.
